Top liveable cities list includes two Dallas neighbors

Niche has released its 2023 report, Best Cities to Live in America, and once again two Dallas suburbs are included in the top 15 cities.

An online platform, Niche links families to colleges or schools. For nearly a decade the company has created an annual report ranking the liveability of cities in the U.S. Niche gathered data on 228 American cities and around 18,000 towns and neighborhoods for its 2023 study. The rankings were the result of resident reviews and information gleaned from the FBI and the Census.

For 2023, Richardson took No. 12 and Plano No. 11 on the Best Cities to Live in America. The communities, which are 21 and 16 miles from Dallas respectively, were listed on Niche’s 2022 and 2021 Top 15 Best Cities List as well.

Chambers of commerce, with the help of printing services, use results such as these to entice new companies to their area.

In achieving its No. 12 spot, Richardson earned an A rating for its public schools, nightlife, friendliness, and health and fitness, and was rated the 13th best place to raise a family and 19th for purchasing a house.

Plano earned its overall No. 11 position via a No. 10 rating for best place to raise a family and placing No. 8 for best place for buying a house. Moreover, it got an A for its nightlife, jobs, and health and fitness, as well as an A+ for diversity, family-friendliness, and public school selection.
