Six DFW companies among best for millennial employment

Fortune magazine has recently issued its annual list of “The Best Workplaces for Millennials” and six Dallas-Fort Worth area companies are on it.

Great Place to Work, the self-proclaimed mission of which is to improve workplace culture, compiled the report. It is the result of surveying 5.3 million of the country’s workers. Great Place to Work CEO Michael Bush said about what makes a great employer:

“The Best Workplaces for Millennials treat their employees like people, not just employees. These companies foster caring and respect for one another, at every level of the organization.”

Of the six DFW employers that made the list, Granite Properties, based in Plano is the highest rated at No. 22 among small and midsized employers. This year is the first time Granite, a real estate company, has made the list, and 99% of its employee rated the company as a great place to work.

One of the ways companies keep employees happy is by the use of Corporate Gifts.

In addition to Granite, three other DFW area small and midsized millennial employers made the list: At No. 36 was Addison-based Credera, and Dallas companies Pariveda Solutions and Embark took the No. 76 and No. 97 spots respectively.

Among large employers on the list was the Dallas-based PrimeLending in the No. 29 slot, and at No. 35 was Ryan LLC.
