Outcry Theatre announces upcoming productions

On hiatus due to the pandemic, Outcry Theatre has announced its two-show 2022 season, as well as its Outcry Youth Theatre 2021-2022 season.

The first of its two onstage productions, Lipstick Traces, based on a Greil Marcus book of the same name, will be performed February 4 to 13, 2022. The second show will be House of Stairs, a futuristic morality tale by permission from the estate of author William Sleator. This last show for 2022 will run July 22 to 31. Both shows will be held at the Addison Theatre Centre’s Studio Theatre. Poster printing services offer an affordable means of promoting productions like these.

The Dallas theater group’s Outcry Youth Theatre will be holding its next production, based on Roald Dahl’s book The Witches, over October 15 to 24, 2021. November 5 to 14 will see The Diviners, a play set in the Great Depression, being held.

The new year will start out with the classic musical Pippin being performed January 13 to 16, 2022 and continue with Charlotte’s Web from March 18 to 27, 2022. The Outcry Youth Theater will conclude with the June 30 to July 3, 2022 production of The SpongeBob Musical. Space for another performance has been allocated between April 29 and May 8, but the play itself is yet to be announced.

With the exceptions of Pippin and The SpongeBob Musical, which will be performed on the Main Stage and at Plano's Courtyard Theater respectively, all performances will take place at the Addison Theater Centre’s Studio.
