Novel entertainment concept on its way to Dallas

The Minneapolis-based enterprise Game Show Battle Rooms is slated to bring a whole new level of fun to Dallas.

Developed in 2017, Game Show Battle Rooms has participants competing in miniature versions of popular TV game shows. Founded by a couple of college friends, the first Room opened in Minneapolis followed by locations in Kansas City and Milwaukee. The Dallas location will be the first in the Lone Star State.

Each location is equipped with scaled-down game rooms where groups can sign up for a 60- or 90-minute session. The game rooms come with an enthusiastic host, and all the game show flair one would expect of a TV game show. To increase the realism factor, participants receive personalized name tags and their scores will show up on a real-time scoreboard.

The enterprise is primarily targeting bachelor or bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, groups of friends, and the team-building market. A flyer printing service can be particularly helpful when targeting specific groups like these.

Five games are available, all of which are based on a TV game show, but boast these slightly altered names: Million Dollar Trivia, Name that Price, Friendly Feud, Minute Games, and Wheel of Phrases. Winners receive the opportunity to have their picture taken with the champion trophy and claim a spot on the Wall of Fame.

Game Show Battle Rooms is expected to open around the middle of 2022 in Farmers Branch at 4887 Alpha Road.
