Nonstop seasonal flights to New Zealand start this fall

Fort Worth-based American Airlines will begin offering nonstop flights connecting Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Auckland, New Zealand in October.

The daily flights from DFW to Auckland were supposed to start in 2020, but were postponed due to the COVID pandemic. New Zealand is a South Pacific Island nation of around five million people. The country’s diverse landscape can be seen in a wide range of movies, most of which could be described as adventure or fantasy, including Lord of the Rings.

American Airlines DFW operations vice-president Jim Moses stated:

“Auckland joins a lineup of exciting international destinations that we offer from DFW, and as DFW’s hometown airline, we are proud to open the splendors of New Zealand to our local customers and those who connect through DFW from across our global network.”

Simplifying transportation between two points usually results in a consultation with printing services for many businesses at both locations to assist with increasing marketing to potential visitors.

The time in Auckland is about 17 hours later than in Dallas. Flights will leave for Auckland at 10:30 pm and land at 7:45 am or 8:45 am; while Auckland to DFW will take off at 12:40 pm or 1:40 pm and land at 8:45 am. The seasonal time changes accounting for the alternative take-off and landing times.

The nonstop service between DFW and Auckland will utilize Boeing 787-9 aircraft. It will commence October 29 and continue through March 25.
