Murder Mystery Texas has recently announced that it will hold a weekly Murder Mystery dinner theater each Saturday evening.
The group is an affiliate of Keith & Margos Murder Mystery USA, Inc. and has been in operation since 1990. In addition to the dinner theater, it holds private corporate parties, as well as creating special holiday-themed events in Austin, Fort Worth, Houston, Plano, and San Antonio.
The historic Old Mill Inn on Grant Avenue will be the venue for the Saturday night shows, which start at 7:30 pm. Actors, mingling with guests, play their parts as a murder mystery unfolds. Meanwhile tables full of diners try to solve the case.
The weekly Dallas shows are not recommended for those younger than 13 years due to the adult themes or situations that are part of the mysteries plots. According to Murder Mystery Texas, the dress code for the dinner theaters is upscale casual.
Tickets are $63 each, although groups of 10 or more may qualify for a group discount. The ticket price includes a pre-dinner reception featuring hors d’ oeuvres followed by a three-course dinner.
