The historic neighborhood of Munger Place is holding an eclectic three-day celebration this month, all of which culminates in a festival and craft fair to which the public is invited.
The Munger Place Days’ Street Festival and Craft Fair is free to the public and allows shoppers to browse unique arts and crafts while enjoying the tree-lined streets and friendly atmosphere of Munger Place. There will be live music, a wide range of activities suitable for all age groups, and 40 vendors, carefully selected for this event. Food will be available for purchase at a court made up of five trucks.
Munger Place is between Lakewood and Swiss Avenue, just about a five-minute drive from downtown Dallas. The neighborhood contains the largest group of prairie-style homes in the U.S. During the three-day celebration, a Wine Walk and Preview will be held, as well as a symposium on home renovation and two days when tours of selected homes will be held.
Attendance at this type of event is dependent on the public being given enough prior notice, which can be best accomplished by using a banner printing service
The Munger Place Days’ Street Festival and Craft Fair will be held between Munger and Collett on Worth Street at the 5000-5100 Block on September 21 from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Admission to the festival is free, while the cost for the Home Tour is $15.
