The Trailblazer Awards Luncheon, which will be held at the Hilton Anatole, is one of Dallas’s most anticipated fall luncheons. The event’s honorary chairs will be philanthropists Stephanie and Travis Hollman, former stars of the Real Housewives of Dallas. Co-chairs for the luncheon are Holly Krug and Lindsay Jacaman.
The Family Place, which will be celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, is a nonprofit that benefits survivors of family violence. Its largest annual fundraising event, the Trailblazer Awards Luncheon, provides funding for counseling, safe housing, and education to foster independence.
In addition to businesses, Print shops assist nonprofits with their promotional needs.
In a press release, Mimi Sterling, CEO of The Family Place stated:
"We hope attendees will be inspired by our featured speaker Brooke Shields as she shares her unique story and her personal resilience that led her to become the role model she is today."
Sheilds, whose career has including being a child movie star, fashion model and author has most recently been the subject of a docu-series detailing her life.
To be held on September 29, the Trailblazer event will start with a VIP reception followed by a seated luncheon and the presentation of the 2023 Texas Trailblazer Award to the as yet unnamed recipient.
