EVO Entertainment, based in Austin, will be opening an entertainment center and dine-in theater about 25 miles from downtown Dallas in Southlake that will include bowling lanes, seven dine-in theaters featuring reclining seats, a rock wall, a ropes course, and bumper cars. Additionally, there will be areas designated for laser tag, virtual reality play, video arcades, and space for private events.
The Southlake complex will be the eighth theater in the EVO Entertainment Groups, making a total of 79 screens across the Lone Star State. A renovation costing several million dollars will be required to make the 68,733-square-foot space into the one-of-a-kind venue EVO anticipates opening in December of this year.
EVO’s CEO Mitch Roberts said in a statement:
“We are excited to be part of an environment with some of the best retail in a lifestyle destination that truly values the experiential element of shopping, dining, and playing together as an elevated human experience.”
Banner printing services are frequently the way most members of the public learn about a new venue’s opening.
This Dallas-Fort Worth location will be a first for the EVO Group, which has until now limited itself to the Austin and San Antonio markets. Further expansion into the DFW area is expected to be announced later in 2021.
