Dallas venue to devote itself to pets

Next weekend, the Dallas Market Hall will be going to the dogs, as well as the cats, birds, and even lizards.

The 2014 Dallas Amazing Pet Expo will be taking place there. Admission is free and the indoor event takes place in a comfortable air-conditioned environment.

The hall will be filled with more than 185 pet-centric exhibitors, as well as live demonstrations of canine agility, lure coursing, obedience training, and pet care. Rescue groups and animal activists will be on hand as well, and the Banfield Pet Hospital will be sponsoring a mega-adoption event with more than 300 pets looking for a ‘forever’ home.

Pets are welcome, as long as they are either in a carrier or on a non-retractable lead and have the age-appropriate immunization proof. Low-cost immunizations and microchipping will be offered, and discounts on a wide range of pet products will be available.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Shorty Rossi, the star of ‘Pit Boss’ on Animal Planet. Rossi will be there with his pit bull service dog Hercules promoting acceptance of the breed. Information on a wide range of animal related topics, including the attributes and needs of different breeds, will be available.

Brochure printers will have the opportunity to provide an assortment of printed materials and services, including banner printing services. It all takes place on May 10, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
