‘Slate Me!’ a new web talk show is in the works, according to DB Media Entertainment and will provide parents and young people with information about breaking into the entertainment industry.
The new Dallas-based show will be hosted by actresses Kimi Acosta and Samantha Heer. Acosta and Heer, who live in the Dallas area, will also serve as Slate Me! executive producers.
The program will provide young actors and hopefuls, as well as their parents, with entertainment news from Austin/San Antonio, England (especially London), and the Dallas Metro-plex, plus tips for making headway in the entertainment industry.
Based in San Antonio, DB Media Entertainment CEO D.R. Pedraza will serve as Show Runner. The company is celebrating its eighth year and has branched out recently to include managing artists. Business Forms featuring the DB Media Entertainment logo will be needed when signing talent. Moreover, on occasion there will be in-studio performances on the program by Texas entertainers, which might necessitate Forms as well.
Reporting for the show will be San Antonio-based actors Javier Medellin and Madison Campbell, and London-based Tegan Westall. Westall is represented by DB Media, as is as Executive Producer Samantha Heer.
Shot live in Spayse Studios, the program will be broadcast on the Slate Me! TV YouTube channel for the first time on February 9, 2017.
