Dallas Executive Airport to host Pearl Harbor re-enactment

One of the largest airshows in the area, the Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow is returning following a one-year pandemic-induced hiatus.

The annual airshow is an interactive event that features air battle re-enactments, flying demonstrations, living history encampments, veteran appearances, cockpit tours and aircraft rides. It is organized by the Commemorative Air Force. As many as 40 aircraft from the World War II-era are likely to take part in the airshow and will include fighters, bombers and support airplanes.

Airshows are extremely popular and can make excellent Corporate Gifts for an employee or customer to show them how much they are appreciated.

“Texas Goes to War” is this year’s theme and will focus on the Lone Star State’s substantial contribution to America’s war effort. That effort included manufacturing companies, training fields and defending the nation’s third coast to insure the oil supply. This year’s featured performer, TORA TORA TORA, is a popular Pearl Harbor aerial re-enactment that includes a variety of that era’s planes and pyrotechnic effects.

The CAF Wings Over Dallas WWII Airshow will be held at the Dallas Executive Airport October 29-31. Ticket price will range from $10 to $79 with discounts available for advance ticket purchases at the Wings Over Dallas website. Rides in various World War II aircraft can also be booked through the website.
