Dallas earns place among top 20 Best U.S. Cities

The “America’s Best Cities” report compiled by Resonance Consultancy, a tourism and real estate marketing advisory company based in Canada, placed Dallas at No. 16 among the country’s top 100 cities with populations of 500,000 or more.

Criteria for ranking America’s Best Cities include cultural diversity and economic prosperity; Dallas garnered high praise for its livability, lovability, and prosperity. The study cited the top 100 cities as being:

“…the engines of their regional and national economies and, importantly, the global economy."

In describing the city, the study noted how Dallas’s cultural footprint has grown in recent years due to the expansion of art institutions such as the Crow Museum of Asian Art, and the Dallas Museum of Art. Also contributing to the city’s excellent ranking were the connectivity provided by the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, and its strong job market and thriving economy.

Lists such as this are often part of a city’s promotional materials and make their way to brochure printing services.

Also listed in the report with regards to the city are the more than 10,000 corporate headquarters located here, the redirection of a major highway through Dallas, and the new 2.5 million sq. ft. convention center.

Topping the America’s Best Cities list were New York City, Chicago, and Los Angels in first through third place respectively. Other Lone Star State Cities on the list were Houston at No. 10, Austin at No. 15, and San Antonio at No. 32.
