Christmas pop-up bar coming to Dallas district

An over-the-top Christmas themed cocktail bar will open after Thanksgiving and through December as a pop-up in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas.

Described as festive and kitschy, Tipsy Elf will serve holiday cocktails such as Vegan Eggnog, Mulled Wine, and sage-infused Gin Fizz in Santa Mugs. Patrons can also enjoy holiday cookies and seasonally inspired snacks while listening to Christmas tunes.

The restaurant group that gave the city Tejas, Botanist, and Paradiso is bring Tipsy Elf to Bishop Arts this holiday season. Good Companions at 308 N. Bishop Ave is a little white house that will be converted into a hangout of all things Christmassy. Nostalgia will abound as decorations – both classy and tacky as well as everything in between – remind patrons of Christmases past.

In addition to promising elaborate Christmas décor, people in cosplay will be onsite including a drag Mrs. Claus and an elf named Larry.

A flyer printing service is one of the most affordable and easiest to control methods of promoting an event like this.

The Bishop Arts District is in the heart of North Oak Cliff and is considered one of Dallas’ most fascinating neighborhoods, with its array of independent restaurants, boutiques, galleries, bars, and coffee shops.

Tipsy Elf will be open 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm Thursday to Saturday, from November 27 through January 2, 2021.
