Arlington is going to enjoy a blast from the past as The Eagles bring their style of classic rock with a Laurel Canyon influence to Dallas-Fort Worth for the first time since they started their "The Long Goodbye" tour series in 2023.
The band's most recent tour extension, "The Long Goodbye, Act III," includes just three recently announced stadium dates. The other two are in Nashville on May 9th and Atlanta on May 5th.
Don Henley, a founding member of the Eagles, his longtime bandmates Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey, who will alternate for Deacon's father, the late Glenn Frey, with Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner, are all on the band's tour roster. Poster printing is popular among bands.
The evening will begin with the Grammy Award-winning blues group Tedeschi Trucks Band.
On Monday, March 2nd, fans may register on the band's website until 10 a.m. to get entry to the artist presale, which starts at 10 a.m. March 3rd.
Beginning in 1980, the band disbanded for 14 years until getting back together in 1994.
The band, which was founded in 1971, sold over 150 million albums globally in just ten years, making them a commercial behemoth. Both "Hotel California" and "Their Greatest Hits 1971–1975" have sold more in excess of thirty million Copies.
The band revealed on Wednesday that it will play at Globe Life Field in Arlington, home of the Texas Rangers, on Saturday, May 16th.
