Maverick Stadium hosts HS football for Arlington ISD

The 2025 Arlington ISD football games taking place on Friday nights as well as select Thursday nights will be played at Maverick Stadium at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).

Through November 6, these games will illustrate UTA’s ongoing commitment to supporting local high schools as well as the Arlington community. UTA Athletic Director Jon Fagg explained:

"We are thrilled to open Maverick Stadium to Arlington ISD this fall. High school football is a cornerstone of Texas culture, and we want to give players, families, and fans an unforgettable experience while showcasing our beautiful campus."

Schools utilize a lot of customized items, particularly with regard to their sports programs all of which can be provided by their local print shops.

Fans will particularly enjoy experiencing the high schools’ football games at Maverick Stadium as a number of augmentations have been added such as upgraded scoreboard and play clocks, a state-of-the-art video board, and an improved upon sound system. These enhancements promise to make each touchdown, play and announcement even more exciting.

UTA asks that visitors plan ahead and take into consideration that the high school games will result in new traffic patterns and increased overall traffic near the stadium on game nights.

Future plans at UTA include the launch in the spring of 2027 of a women’s flag football program.
