Upcoming sales kick off the holiday gift-buying season

There are two crafts fairs taking place in the Middletown area in November that will get the gift-buying season off and running.

The first one is the 25th annual Cornucopia Professional Fine Arts and Crafts Sale. Proceeds will benefit art programs at The Pennfield School. The event will start off with a preview party on November 4 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, wine, and beer while they get to shop early at the sale. Tickets are $25 per person.

The sale will feature over 60 artisans who will be selling items such as handmade jewelry, holiday decorations, and works of art. Guests can enjoy a snack in the Artist’s Pallette Café.

The second show is the 6th annual Holiday Showcase Craft Fair. Admission is free and there will be a variety of unique, handmade items available for sale.

Residents of surrounding towns such as Middletown may be interested in starting their holiday shopping at one of these events. Organizers will likely distribute Flyers to advertise in the community.

The Cornucopia Professional Fine Arts and Crafts Sale will be held at The Pennfield School in Portsmouth on November 5 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Admission is $2. Call 401-849-4646 to learn more.
