Craft events kick off the holiday gift-buying season

There are three separate craft fairs taking place this month and early next in the Middletown area. These will help to get the holiday shopping season.

All three of them will be featuring handmade unique items that will be suitable for gift giving. This will likely include children's toys, clothing, decorations, handmade jewelry, works of art and ceramics. Any of these events will be sure to allow shoppers to discover original items that will be suitable for gift giving to friends and family.

The first event is the 6th annual Holiday Craft Fair that will be held at the Elks Lodge in Wakefield on November 14 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free of charge.

On November 21, the 4th annual Holiday Extravaganza Craft Fair will take place at the VFW in Cranston. Admission is also free of charge and it will run from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The final one is the 2nd Holiday Spectacular Artisan Craft Fair. It will take place at the Elks Lodge in Newport. Admission is free and it will be open from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Organizers will no doubt be investing in flyer printing services to spread the word about these events to nearby communities such as Middletown. To find out more information about any one of these events, call 401-396-9921.
