Christmas at Blithewold is back for another year and will be taking place for six weeks beginning this month.
A variety of events are planned this year that are sure to appeal to the entire family. The first one to be held will be the Winter Marketplace and The Shop at Blithewold Preview Party on November 19 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Admission is free for members, $7 for adults, and $3 for children between the ages of 6 and 17. Guests will be able to shop for crafts, fine art, and food, all of which will be suitable for gift giving.
A popular activity is sure to be Sparkle! An Outdoor Family Event. It will be held on three Friday nights, and there will be three sessions each night. There will be marshmallow roasting, free cocoa and carol singing, and s’mores kits are available for purchase. Admission is $2 for members or $6 for nonmembers, and $1 or $3 for children aged three and over.
This popular annual festival attracts families from all over the area, including nearby Middletown. To help spread the word, organizers may invest in flyer printing services.
