What's Happening in Stroudsburg, PA…

A small, dark gray kitten named ‘Logi’, who survived a fire near Stroudsburg, has a group of volunteer firefighters to thank for saving one of his nine lives.

The fire crew responded to a call about a blaze early one morning earlier this month. They were able to put it out quickly, but when they were going through the scene, they heard the faint cries of a kitten. They searched, and found him under a plastic cabinet, alive but very frightened.

The little feline survived, but does have some scars due to his ordeal. He lost an ear, and has some marks on his head and neck. He was adopted by one of the firefighters who found him, Matt Smalley.

Logi received veterinary care at Creature Comforts, and Smalley noted that he may need further surgery and care to deal with the aftereffects of the fire, such as burns to his paws. Even with everything he has been through, Smalley noted he is a very loving cat. A printing company can produce materials that can help to get the word to to the public about how they can lend in hand in helping to cover the cost of his vet bills.
