EMPOWER: The Leadership Experience is returning to the Pocono region this spring.
The one-day women’s leadership conference is the largest business event in the region and is expected to bring in more than 900 attendees. The event features keynote talks, breakout sessions with a regional focus, panel discussions, and a vendor marketplace. Vendors often give out promotional Pens and other marketing materials at this type of event. The full agenda and list of speakers is available online.
Registration is open now for $399 per attendee. Tickets include breakfast, lunch, coffee, and tea. Water stations will be open throughout the day, and attendees are asked to bring reusable water bottles. There is no specific dress code, but attendees should wear layers and comfortable shoes. A room block at the hotel is available for those traveling to the conference.
The conference includes EMPOWER TEEN, a track specifically designed for high school students ages 16 to 18 who can attend the conference for $100 per person. Teens will attend keynote and breakout sessions and participate in wellness activities. Speakers with youth-focused presentations will include East Stroudsburg High School North senior Arielle Biggs, who was sworn in as Pennsylvania Youth Commissioner in January.
EMPOWER will take place on Thursday, April 30 from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in Pocono Manor.
