The Downtown Stroudsburg Business Association and the Pocono Irish American Club (PIAC) are hosting their 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade this March.
The parade will feature local nonprofits, marching bands and businesses, and be led by a grand marshal chosen for embodying the values of St. Patrick.
The public is invited to watch the parade from anywhere along the route, which will run from Stroudsburg High School to the municipal building in East Stroudsburg.
Attendees are asked to remain on the sidewalks while the parade is running. Roads will be closed along the parade route, and parking will not be available on Stroudsburg’s Main Street the night before and the day of the parade. A map of the parade route is available on the PIAC website so attendees can plan their trips.
Applications for businesses and groups interested in participating will be available on the Irish American Club’s website until 15 days prior to the event. The cost is $200 for businesses and political groups and $50 for nonprofits. Parade participants often use banner printing services to display their names and logos.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available at multiple price levels. A detailed list of the sponsorship tiers is available on the PIAC website.
The 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Sunday, March 24, leaving from Stroudsburg High School at 1:15pm.
