Stroudsburg’s Sherman Theater will host Pennsylvania’s stop on Letters From Home’s 50 States Tour this February.
Letters From Home performs vintage USO-style (United Service Organizations) singing and tap dancing shows combined with modern humor. The 50 States Tour will visit every state in 2023. The show features Letters From Home founder Erinn Dearth and self-described “tall guy” Daniel Beckmann. The group promises a heart-warming and uplifting show that will also include laughs and audience interactions.
A nonprofit organization, Letters From Home’s mission is to use music to honor veterans and bring people together. The group has performed more than 900 shows across the United States in venues including theaters, cruise ships, and military bases. It was also the subject of an Emmy-winning documentary in 2017.
Tickets for the Sherman Theater performance are on sale now through the theater’s website. Online ticket sales will continue to be available through 5 pm the day of the show, and tickets will be available at the door after that. Ticket prices start at $22 per person. Letters From Home invites interested businesses to support their work through sponsorships. Sponsoring organizations often promote their businesses through poster printing at public events.
The Letters From Home show will take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 7 pm at the Sherman Theater. Doors open at 6 pm.
