Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Initiative is hosting its 4th Annual Community Women’s Health Fair in East Stroudsburg this summer.
The health fair will feature services and information related to multiple areas of health. Attendees will have the opportunity to receive routine screenings like blood pressure and bone density tests, as well as Covid vaccines. They can also participate in free workout classes, including Zumba and other styles.
The fair will include workshops and presentations where participants can learn about nutrition, quitting smoking and mental health. Women can meet with healthcare providers to discuss the services they offer and talk to representatives from different community organizations. Organizations often use banner printing services to highlight their tables at this type of event. Lunch will be provided, and attendees can enter raffles and receive other giveaway items.
Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Initiative works to support women by offering programs in four key areas. These are food security, job readiness, mental health and healthy lifestyles. The group believes these pillars build on each other to provide a long-term path to stability and wellness. Its programs include the Everybody Eats Project, which has provided customized care packages with food and household items to more than 200 local families.
The 4th Annual Community Women’s Health Fair will take place on Saturday, July 27 from 11 am to 3 pm at Danbury Park in East Stroudsburg.
