Stroudsburg is hosting a Paint the Town Red holiday fundraiser to both decorate the downtown area and support local food pantries this season.
Residents can purchase red bows to be displayed downtown during the month of December. They will start going up on Monday, November 20 and will continue to be added as they are purchased. Proceeds from the bow sales will go towards efforts to end hunger in the area. The fundraising team will publish a list of donors on two occasions - first in mid-December and then at the end of the month when the fundraiser ends. Local nonprofits often work with Print shops to design and produce such publications.
Plain red bows cost $25 and bows with the name of the person they are honoring added cost $35. Those interested in buying a wreath can do so online or in person at the Christ Church Office on Sarah St. The fundraiser organizers will also have a table set up at the Tree Lighting event on Friday, November 24 to answer questions and sell bows.
Bows for Stroudsburg’s Paint the Town Red fundraiser for local food ministries are available now and will be on sale through Sunday, December 31. They are made by The Potting Shed, a local shop that sells flowers, linens, plants, and home décor.
