Residents of Stroudsburg are welcome to come and celebrate America’s 229th birthday.
East Stroudsburg will be hosting the American Freedom festival over three days at the start of July. This annual event will feature plenty of things to see and do, including amusements and carnival style rides, games, and food court with local vendors. Along with this, there will be music and displays by local artisans, craftspeople and not for profit groups.
Topping the long weekend off with a bang will be a fireworks display that will take place at dusk on the Fourth of July. Banners and other festive decorations can be produced with a theme of red, white and blue for Independence Day events such as this.
In past years the festival has attracted as many as 20,000 visitors from both the local area and further afield, and its organizers hope that this year will be bigger and better than ever before. Those who would like to find more information about setting up a booth or other display that may be of interest to the community are asked to contact Ms. Sonya Cole at 570-350-1475 or through email at scole@ptd.net.
The American Freedom Festival is scheduled for July 2nd, 3rd and 4th at Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg. Those who are interested in finding out more are invited to visit the event’s website.
