Snowmen of Stroudsburg is a free wintertime seasonal art installation in which a group of person-sized snowman figures, each creatively painted by local artists, are placed around downtown Stroudsburg, and it is set to return this year.
This will be the fourth year that the snowmen are set out, and they are quickly becoming a fun and valued local tradition. The snowmen will shift locations every few weeks, keeping the exhibition interesting for those who frequent the area.
Enjoying the snowmen will add some fun to any winter shopping trip. For those who want to make sure to see them all, several participating businesses will have maps of the snowmen’s locations available. Creating maps like this is one way a brochure printing company can benefit community event organizers. A list of businesses carrying the maps can be found on the GO Collaborative website.
The snowmen are sponsored by GO Collaborative, a local nonprofit organization that aims to improve the community by bringing businesses and the arts together. The nonprofit recognizes that a vibrant downtown area benefits the arts, small businesses and residents. Events like the snowmen display help bring visibility to local artists while encouraging foot traffic around local businesses.
The Snowmen of Stroudsburg display will be up from November 26, 2021 to February 26, 2022, offering plenty of opportunities for Stroudsburg visitors and residents to enjoy the snowmen while walking around town.
