The Pocono Pops! Orchestra will perform a holiday show in Stroudsburg this December.
The Pocono Pops! Orchestra is comprised of highly-trained professional singers and will perform a selection of seasonal tunes. Some of the area’s best student musicians will join the performance. These include the Pocono Pops! Chorus, a group of singers from eight high schools throughout the area. The Pops and the Sherman Theatre hope to make the Holiday Extravaganza an annual performance.
Tickets can be purchased online through the Sherman Theatre. Prices range from $25 to $40 depending on the seat location. Discounted tickets for parents of the student performers are available for $15. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Monroe County’s Toys for Tots program. Theaters often work with Print shops to produce programs for their concerts and other events.
The holiday performance is part of the Pocono Mountains Music Festival, a nonprofit that puts on several music-focused events throughout the year. This is the 13th season of the festival, which brings musical acts in multiple genres to the Poconos and offers music education programs for students.
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year concert will take place on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Sherman Theatre in Stroudsburg. The show will start at 3 pm. Doors open at 2 pm.
