The Shawnee Celtic Festival is taking place during Memorial Day weekend in Stroudsburg.
The festival is expected to feature non-stop Celtic music on two stages all weekend, together with a parade of bagpipers, Irish step dancing performances, and a musical jam.
Some of the musicians slated to perform over the weekend are Emish, Earl Grey in the Morning, and The Irish Lads. There are also set to be working sheepdog demonstrations, various kids’ activities, and lots of farm animals with which visitors can get up close and personal.
Arts and crafts vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of handmade and Celtic-related items like jewelry, pottery, clothing, and accessories. There will also be food available for purchase over the weekend.
Organizers of the event will no doubt be advertising it widely all over the area. Printing companies are usually asked to provide marketing products such as Flyers and Booklets that can be distributed in several low-cost ways.
The Shawnee Celtic Festival is taking place at the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area from May 24 to 25 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the gate, or $10 or $12 for children. Two-day passes are also available at $24 for adults or $20 for children.
