Visitors to downtown Stroudsburg will soon be seeing some brand new businesses that may well breathe life back into back into the area.
One enterprise that will be setting up shop is the will be a ‘50s themed diner. A.C.’s Cafe will offer its patrons a full menu that features all-day breakfast and lunch. To help add to its energetic vibe, it will have a café and arcade, and will provide a venue for live music performances. There will even be an ice cream bar that serves Belgian waffles, complete with all the toppings one might expect.
The owner of the restaurant, A.J. Hiller says that he is happy to have an opportunity to help draw people back to the downtown core. He hopes that his new business will provide a fun atmosphere that people will enjoy.
Next door to A.C.’s Café, a smoothie shop will soon be taking up residence. A printer can create custom Drinkware for it, as well as any other eateries that open in the downtown core.
Along with these, there are plans in the works for the construction of a five-story building that will house offices, retail space, and also apartments.
Local business owners told reporters from WBRE/WYOU that the area is in need of revitalization, and it is good to see these new enterprises coming in.
