Certification expands offerings at college in Stroudburg

East Stroudsburg University (ESU) will be offering a Certification Program in Building Information Modeling (BIM). The process of BIM provides an intelligent, three-dimensional representation of a project that is rich with data and is used in the industries of architecture, engineering, design, and construction.

The program is the result of partnership between the university and Advenser Technology Services, Inc. Brochure printing is often used to provide more information about such programs and their benefits for students.

The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) International Business Development Office introduced Advenser to the college. The company has a strong knowledge base in BIM and has offices in the state, Dubai UAE, Victoria Australia, and engineering excellence center in Cochin, India. A training lab in the ESU Innovation Center will be developed by Advenser offering 20 terminals for training and subject matter experts who will conduct a train-the-trainers program for ESU faculty.

Interim President of ESU, Kenneth Long, said that this new training lab at ESU is part of the university’s support of initiatives that bring together resources, real world technology, and certifications that meet both industry demands and student interests. President of Advenser, Biju Mattamana, expressed his pride in his company’s ability to become a training partner with ESU and help attract students to the BIM industry.
