Upcoming fundraiser celebrates the holidays

‘A Vintage Christmas Experience’ is taking place this December in Pittsburgh, and is a fundraising event for the Catholic Charities Diocese of Pittsburgh.

This event is celebrating the Christmases of the 1960s through the 1980s; guests are encouraged to dress in manner of their favorite decade. Music will be provided by the group Nitebridge, there will be visits from local celebrities of the past, and Santa will be posing for photographs.

There will be a silent auction and the 12 Days of Christmas Chinese auction, which will put 12 prizes up for grabs. Guests can also post in the Ugly Christmas Sweater booth or add their photographs to the graffiti wall. They can also donate to the Christmas giving tree. In addition, the Howard Hanna family will be given the Spirit of St. Nicholas Award by Bishop David A. Zubik.

Sponsorships from $80 up to $10,000 are available for local businesses and individuals. No doubt many of the business leaders planning to become sponsors will inform their Pittsburgh customers about this event. This may include availing themselves of flyer printing services.

‘A Vintage Christmas Experience’ is being held at Stage AE on December 13 starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $75 each or $750 for a table of 12. Call 412-456-6999 to learn more about what to expect from this charity fundraiser.
