The food, music and culture of Slovakia will be taking center stage during an event taking over the University of Pittsburgh for a November afternoon.
The Slovak Heritage Festival will be celebrating 32 years of showcasing the traditions of the Eastern European country, and it is one of the biggest functions of its kind to be held in the country. It will be an in-person activity, and it will welcome all ages.
The festival will offer the public a chance to sample a variety of Slovak dishes, including pastries and desserts, as well as beverages. Live music will help to keep the atmosphere exciting. Demonstrations of traditional dance are on the agenda, and there will be displays and exhibits set up. A variety of vendors will have goods sourced from Eastern Europe, making it an opportunity to purchase some unique holiday gifts.
The decor used during an event can be an important part of creating the desired atmosphere, and a poster printing company can help. It will have the wide format printing equipment and technology needed to prepare large materials, and can do so quickly.
This salute to Slovak culture is scheduled for Sunday, November 6, and it will run from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. It will be an activity people of all ages and interests can enjoy.
