Life Pittsburgh is presenting a series of senior health fairs in the city of Pittsburgh next month, addressing the rapidly aging population of the area, and the United States in general.
All of the fairs will feature free tests for blood pressure, eyesight, hearing, and glaucoma among others. Flu and pneumonia vaccines will also be given free of charge. There will also be functional assessments, spinal analysis, raffles and plenty of giveaways.
Vendors will also be on hand to showcase products that might be of interest to seniors. Products might include accessibility aids and health and dietary supplements. Representatives from health and wellness centers, home health care companies, and pharmacies will also be on hand to provide information and advice to seniors.
The first fair will take place at the Risen Lord Parish Education Center on September 14 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. This will be followed by one on September 16 at the Bridgeville Library from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, and the last one of the month will be held at the West End Senior Center on September 26 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
Pittsburgh marketing and printing companies have likely been helping the organizers design and Print Flyers to advertise these health fairs throughout the city. These Flyers would most likely be distributed through the mail, handed out on the street, or sent to local seniors' centers.
