Pittsburgh's Handmade Arcade will soon be gathering a curated group of artisans together for a special holiday market.
Residents have been invited to be a part of this evening that will include a sneak peek at what the different vendors will be offering the shoppers who come to the main event.
This function will be the inaugural benefit for Handmade Arcade, and will be held the evening before the market is set to open to the general public. The proceeds will be used to help fund Handmade Arcade’s initiatives throughout the community.
Guests at the function will begin to gather starting at 5:30 pm, and they can shop from at least 140 of the different vendors that will be participating in the sale. Many of the makers will be on hand to meet with their supporters, and pours of crafted apple cider will be offered. The attendees can try their hand at the different crafting stations, and there will be entertainment, small-bite dishes and also a cash bar.
In keeping with the creative theme of the occasion, each guest will go home with a crafty goodie bag that they will have assembled themselves. One of the first calls the organizers of a function like this may wish to make will be to an area printing services provider, as it will be able to supply any of the printed materials needed to make sure that the evening goes off without a hitch.
This showcase of all the local crafting and artistic community has to offer will be held on December 7. Two different ticket options are available, and the event’s online listing includes more details.
