Those who planned “The Fancy Dancy Flea” say it will be filled with gently used items , and there will also be vegan food available for purchase. There is no charge to enter and it may be a good opportunity for budget-minded families to obtain dresses and other dancewear without breaking the bank.
The function is intended to give individuals an opportunity to repurpose and reuse fancy clothing, formal dresses, dance props, shoes, suits, party decor and other items. It is expected that there will also be Books in the mix. For anyone who has formalwear they do not expect to wear again, it may be a rewarding way to both clear out their closet and make some spending money at the same time.
Signage and other marketing will help to ensure flea markets are well attended. Banner printing services for almost any event will be available at a Print shop in the local area.
Thrive on Health, which is located in the Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh, will be offering space for this fancy flea on January 15. It will be open to the public from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
