Pittsburgh plans event with foodies in mind

Whether they are fans of coffee, chocolate, or both, a Pittsburgh event is set to bring food and fun to an area location.

The planners of the Pittsburgh Coffee and Chocolate Festival hope it will be a must-attend event for the city’s foodies, as well as the epicurious. It will also highlight other gourmet offerings available in the local area.

Craft chocolatiers, gourmet coffee roasters, breweries, wineries, and distilleries will be joined by other vendors for an afternoon and evening of tastings, and general admission passes are $35 each. There are two sessions scheduled, and the attendees at each will be able to enjoy a wide assortment of samples and pours. The chocolate fountain will also be flowing, and everyone will go home with an espresso cup bearing a special commemorative graphic design prepared for the occasion.

Those looking for an even more immersive experience may opt for the VIP ticket option. These offer all that comes with the general admission passes as well as early admission, a VIP area with exclusive seating, a made-to-order crepe, entry in the prize draws, and a durable tote bag.

This foodie-friendly event will be bringing the fun for Pittsburgh chocolate and coffee fans on Saturday, October 26. The Monroeville Convention and Events Center will welcome ticketholders for the celebration. Entry to the first session for general admission pass holders will be at 12:00 pm.
