Pittsburgh has been said to be a city that knows how to throw a great party, and those who attend one that has been planned for this August will be ensuring its animals in need get lots of love and care.
Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh will be welcoming ticket holders for its Wags, Whiskers, and Wings fundraiser, which will ensure it has the funding it needs to continue to care for its charges. It provides rescue and rehoming for both pets and wildlife, and the activity will be held at the organization’s East Side campus.
The evening will combine craft-style cocktails with an assortment of light bites prepared by area culinary artists. Live music will help to keep the energy levels high, and the proceeds will be used in a variety of ways, including education and outreach programming. The festivities will run for five hours.
