Pittsburgh moms invited to enjoy spring wine walk

Pittsburgh is set to celebrate Mother’s Day with a special experience, and this self-paced wine tour will visit a variety of stops in the Squirrel Hill Business District.

The tour, which will offer pours of about 15 different wines, will introduce the public to a selection of Squirrel Hill establishments. Each participant will receive a wristband when they check in, and these will be accompanied by a printed guide, as well as a wine glass that features a unique graphic design.

Once they have checked in, each ticket holder will be able to use their guide to find the various stops, and the function is limited to those who are age 21 and up. The samples will be poured outdoors, and masks must be worn. Each group will be limited to four people, but just as in previous years, they will be able to browse and buy while supporting the city's small businesses.

Organizing this sort of activity encourages the public to check out the retail establishments in their area. Stationery printers will be able to prepare maps of the route that provide details about each of the establishments stopped at along the way.

The Squirrel Hill Mother’s Day Wine Walk will celebrate moms on May 8. Tickets may be purchased in advance, and the check in kiosk will be set up at the S&T Bank parking lot at 6306 Forbes Avenue.
