The 1st annual Picklesburgh festival is taking place for two days next month, presented by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership.
Visitors will find the festival easily due to a giant dill pickle balloon that will be on display. There are set to be a variety international food dishes available for purchase, and artisan cocktails on tap during both days. There will be how-to demonstrations on canning and pickling, information about the local farm-to-table movement, and musical entertainment on the BNY Mellon stage provided by local groups and artists.
Vendors will also be on hand to sell a variety of reference Books, do it yourself products, and homemade pickled goods.
For those small businesses that want to participate in the festival, vendor spaces are still available from $400 up to $1,200 depending on the size and whether they are selling food or general merchandise. There are also several chances to sponsor the event.
Organizers will likely be working with Pittsburgh printing companies to obtain products such as Banners to recognize sponsors, attract potential attendees, or highlight certain areas of the festival grounds.
Picklesburgh will be held at the Rachel Carson Bridge from July 17 to 18. Admission is free of charge. To find out more information about the festival, or to become a vendor, sponsor, or volunteer, call 412-325-0153.
