A Pittsburgh event will help put kids’ feet on the path to an eco-friendly lifestyle, with plenty to offer the adults in the crowd as well.
The Growing Up Green Festival will be held in Schenley Plaza and will be an opportunity for local environmentally focused companies to meet with the public, and it is part of the city’s Earth Day celebrations.
The plans for the afternoon include lots of ways for guests to learn how they can give the Earth some TLC, and a full lineup of entertainers will also be taking to the stage. Booths that can give tips, advice and other information about living a healthy lifestyle will be on hand for the public to browse through, and they can ask questions and learn more about how small steps they can take to do a good turn for the environment can really add up.
The organizers of this celebration explained that it would not be possible without the assistance of a group of community minded partners. The Logo Design of each of these sponsors and other supporters have been added to the event’s website.
This year’s Growing Up Green expo will be welcoming the world on August 22. Its doors will open at 11:00 am.
