The 2nd annual Pittsburgh Pierogi Fest is taking place in the city this October, paying tribute to it being known as the ‘city of dumplings’.
There will be lots of food vendors who plan on producing their own take on the doughy Polish treats; two of the dishes are expected to be a Japanese version and a pierogi dog. Vendors include food trucks and various Pittsburgh restaurants, including some that specialize in pierogi all year, such as the Pittsburgh Pierogi Truck and the S&D Polish Deli.
In addition, there is set to be live music from bands like Moon Valley Push, Pandemic, and Good Brother Earl. Visitors can also visit the market place and find original products from local companies, while an official event T-shirt will be available for $18.
Sponsorships are available to give local business the opportunity to show community support for this popular festival.
This event will likely attract people from all over the Pittsburgh area. Printing companies may have helped to design and Print Flyers for advertising or even the official T-Shirts.
The Pittsburgh Pierogi Fest will be held at Stage AE on October 18 from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Tickets are $10 or free for children aged 12 and under.
