Located in Pittsburgh, the National Aviary is home to an assortment of feathered friends, and during Flamingo Fest, some of its more flamboyant residents will enjoy their time in the spotlight.
The venue’s resident flamingos are preparing to meet people who attend the celebration, and the agenda for the two days offers activities for all ages. Entry is included with the general admission price, and there is an option on offer for anyone who would like to flex their creative muscles by creating a flamingo portrait to keep for themselves.
The function will see visitors to the aviary enjoy crafting and also learning more about these birds and their ecology. The resident flock will be on hand in the newly revamped wetlands habitat.
