The Best Friends Ball is taking place next month in Pittsburgh, and will raise funds for the Western PA Humane Society.
The event will start off with a cocktail hour where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy appetizers and an open bar. They can also pose in a photo booth with adoptable animals or bid on the silent auction. Other activities will include a wine pull and lots of adoptable puppies and kittens.
A sit-down dinner with dessert will be up next. It will be followed by a live auction and dancing to live entertainment.
Sponsorships are available at several levels, ranging from $2,000 to provide the floral decorations, up to $30,000 which will provide all of the food. Sponsors will be recognized at the event on Signs that will be prominently displayed.
The Western PA Humane Society has been in operation since 1874. It provides animal adoption, lost and found, spay and neuter services, and a wellness clinic. It also has a veterans’ adoption program.
The Signs that will be used to recognize the sponsors will likely be provided by a Pittsburgh printing company.
The Best Friends Ball will be held on September 16 at the Senator John Heinz Regional History Center beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $250 each and tables of 10 are available. Call 412-321-4625 for more information.
