The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is returning to the city with a week’s worth of activities for car enthusiasts. Proceeds from this event go to the Autism Society and Allegheny Valley School.
The first event of the week will be the Blacktie and Tailpipes Gala on July 8 at the Allegheny Country Club. Guests will enjoy a cocktail part, sit-down dinner, and dessert. There will be both a live and silent auction, and musical entertainment from Benny Benack III and Jazz Trio. Tickets are $250 each, or $1,900 for a table of eight and $2,250 for a table of ten.
The main event of the week will be the downtown parade and car display on July 13 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Registration opens at 8AM; car owners can register for $10 at Station Square. The parade will take place at 10:30 AM. Later, there is a tune-up part at Atria’s from 6:00 – 10:00 PM. For $40, guests can enjoy food, drink and a display of race and show cars.
Other events will include a car show, a car cruise at the waterfront, and a countryside tour.
