The Party at the Pier: Posh Picnic is taking place this month in Pittsburgh. It is a fundraising event for Riverlife.
Those attending are recommended to wear their best boating and picnic gear, reminiscent of the 1920s and the Gatsby era. The honorary chairman for this event is actor Michael Keaton, best known for his role as the title character in ‘Batman’.
Guests will be treated to a picnic buffet featuring premium foods and there will be music from and dancing to the Elite Show Band. They can also sign up for short Gateway clipper cruises or pose in the do-it-yourself paparazzi booth.
VIP tickets are available and include reserved seating, a deluxe picnic basket, wine, and a special gift. Riverlife is seeking funds to help reclaim the Pittsburgh waterfront.
It is likely that organizers will be sending out Invitations to people or advertising through Flyers or Posters obtained from Pittsburgh Print companies.
The Party at the Pier: Posh Picnic will be held at the North Shore Riverfront Amphitheater at Rivers Casino on August 28 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $135 for general, $75 for students, and those who work for nonprofit organizations and $1,000 for a VIP bundle of four tickets. Attendance is restricted to those aged 21 and up.
