End-of-summer vehicle show planned for Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is revving up for a car show that will add an extra touch of fun to the final days of summer.

Rosedale Tech has issued an invitation to area vehicle lovers to attend its August car show, and anyone who would like to take advantage of the opportunity to show off their pride and joy is encouraged to do so. The registration fee is $5 each, and spectators are welcome to attend free of charge.

The organizers of the day explained that the function will be family friendly, and a variety of categories will be judged, including one for pre-1970s muscle cars. Food and entertainment are both on the agenda, and the first 100 vehicles to be registered will receive a dash plaque with a custom graphic design. Anyone who has questions has been asked to call 412-52-6200. A special activity will be included in the day for alumni of Rosedale Technical College.

To help make the occasion a success, a set number of vendor spaces have been made available in the event to area businesses. These may be booked by contacting the planners through the Rosedale Tech website.

Vehicle lovers will be coming together to bid a fond farewell to summer on Saturday, August 27. It will be held at 215 Beecham Drive starting at 10:00 am.
