The exhibition ‘Emerge/Evolve’ is showing at the Pittsburgh Glass Center until January of 2015.
The exhibit focuses on kiln glass and the included works were chosen from the Bullseye Glass Company's ‘Emerge 2014’. Some of the artists included are Rei Chikaaka from Japan, Opie Hileman from the United States, and Kathryn Wightman of New Zealand, giving people an introduction to contemporary glass art.
For those who wish to give friends or families a unique gift, the Center will also be hosting a Holiday Glass Sale this December for two days. It will feature regional artists selling items like as jewelry and artworks. There will also be hot glass demonstrations. During those two days, guests can also sign up to make their own glass ornaments; the fees are $35 for blown or $25 for fused. In addition, the Hot Jam will give everyone access to the Hot Shop.
Many Pittsburgh residents may want to experience this unique show before it closes. It will likely be advertised as widely as possible using products obtained from local Stationery printers.
Emerge/Evolve will be showing at the Pittsburgh Glass Center until January 18, 2015. Admission is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. The Center is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 am, and the Holiday Glass Sale is being held on December 6 to 7.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
