Candle and cookie-making party planned for Pittsburgh

An evening of fun is on the way for Pittsburgh, and it promises to give each participant a chance to flex their creative muscles.

The Call Me Crazy Cookie Lady and The Candle Lab have joined forced to organize a candle and cookie decorating party, and it can be a fun idea for a date night or evening with friends. Each participant will walk away with their own handmade candle, as well as half a dozen decorated cookies, and no experience is needed to make the most of the occasion.

Each of the attendees will pour their very own candle which they will have customized by choosing a scent from one of the 120 available for blending. They will also make a custom label for their candle, and while they cool, they will be invited to learn the fundamentals of cookie decorating.

The classes are intended for beginners, it will be a BYOB event. Sheets that supply further tips on cookie decorating can be prepared ahead of time for this sort of event by Stationery printers, and if given to the participants, they will be able to continue creating even once the class is over.

This Thanksgiving-themed evening of creative fun has been scheduled for November 8. It will be offered at 4409 Butler Street.
