Benefit to help homeless children and honor key players

The 16th annual Champions for Children gala is taking place next month in Pittsburgh. The long-running event is a fundraiser for the Homeless Children's Education Fund.

Guests will be treated to a reception, musical entertainment, and a silent auction. In addition, several community members will be honored.

Scott and Sue Lammie are set to receive the Champions for Children Award and the winners will be announced for the Linda A. Dickerson Award and the Joseph Lagana Volunteer Award. Special guests Andy and Cindy Russell will also be honored during the evening.

Sponsorships are available from $2,500 up to $20,000 and sponsors will be invited to a private reception.

The Homeless Children's Education Fund helps to provide financial aid to 27 agencies in Allegheny County. It also provides learning centers, afterschool and summer programs, field trip grants, and higher education scholarships, among other services.

Pittsburgh printing companies are often asked to help market events like this by providing printed Invitations, tickets, and Posters to grab the public’s attention.

The Champions for Children's benefit gala is being held at the Rivers Club on March 2, beginning at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $100, or $50 for young professionals under the age of 35. To find out more about the gala, or about the Homeless Children's Education Fund, call 412-562-0154.
